guys, in LOTRO there is a setting for it… called Auto-move to target. im trying to see a few reviews before i go back to LOTRO and its frustrating because 90% of them that ive seen have been negative… and only because the reviewer has not explored through the settings menu.

hmm, after playing wow for like 2 years and leveling 5 80s and a hell of a lot of alts >.> its soooo boring, so i was plan on picking this game up, not quite sure now though =/

i think they missed the whole thing with WoW its all about getting to the end game content asap and having the best gear wow is a chest beating contest basically all bragging rights it was competitive which is why its popular

Really interesting , i used to be a wow fan like you guys, and i gave lotro a try, now ive been playing for 2 years, and personally i like lotro more now due to graphics and storyline, sorry to hear you only got to lvl 9, those lvls suck lol

You guys need to check out Aion!! Its drops in a about 2 weeks but I’ve been playing the beta & its awesome!!

See the thing is…Blizzard COULD afford good content…BUT they half ass it, and dont, play the new wow games before talking aobut it, BC was very crappy honestly. And it isnt smart to compare games to wow and say it has things from wow being as wow didnt pioneer everything it has. So, go figure.

dude its so fucking easy to get to lvl 10, when i first got the game and i was a total noob and had never played an MMORPG i fucking got to lvl 10 in like an hour or two, so it just goes to say you were just sitting there wasting too much time comparing the game to Wow then looking at it like a new game.

it was a beautiful game. I disagree with them about the graphics not being as good. The only thing I didn’t like about LOTRO was the insane amount of travel time.

you should maybe play more than a short demo before reviewing it, since you’ve clearly played more WoW than Lotro

please don’t say the graphic is better in WoW! and don’t come with this crap when you are level 8!!! try getting to lvl 40, and you’ll forget WoW

I agree with some of the things you mentioned about LOTRO, but i imagine it’s quite difficult to render an entirely new form of MMO without using some of the same features WoW brought forth. I mean, i’m quite certain WoW developers didn’t come up with the idea of Orcs and elves either and i definately say that LOTR lore is MUCH better than Warcraft’s (i have played strategy games of Warcraft). Turbine has brought forth new things like Legendary weapons and they have more expansions to come.
